The American Hydrangea Society's 19th Annual Garden Tour

Ladies and Gentlemen, Mesdames and Messieurs, it is time for our 19th Annual Members Only Garden Tour, Saturday, June 8th, 2013. As you know we will be touring (rain or shine) and that the tour, unfortunately, is not wheelchair accessible. We have 6 wonderful gardens for your touring pleasure. Two gardens, on the same street, will have offsite parking at Clairmont Presbyterian Church. Please park there for the Azalea Circle Gardens. Please park behind the Church near the white gazebo. That way we will be out of the way for any events at the Church that day. Look out for directional signs pointing the way to the gardens.

If you need tickets, they may be purchased at the retail locations of our sponsors: Buck Jones in Grayson and Woodstock; Ashe-Simpson Garden Center, Boxwoods Gardens and Gifts, and Habersham Gardens - all in Atlanta; Hastings Nature & Garden Center in Peachtree Corners; Scottsdale Farms in Alpharetta; and Wilkerson Mill Gardens in Palmetto.

If you join online after May 31st, your tickets will not be mailed. (Click here to join online.) They can be picked up at the first garden, 4220 Harris Trail NW, Atlanta, 30327. Also, tickets will be available on the day of the tour only at the Harris Trail house, so don't worry if you have a last minute addition to your group.

Membership has its perks. We have 3 Membership Lecture Meetings a year: February, April and October. We send out 3 newsletters a year, which include detailed recaps of the lectures, with lots of pictures. Many of our members are unable to come to the lectures, so we give you a detailed (with many photos) recap of each speaker's lecture. We will have a new, renewable membership directory, starting in Jan. 2014. It is $25.00 for a single membership and $40 for a couple/family membership.

Get your sunhats, suntan lotion, sturdy walking shoes and your cameras (does anyone use anything else but their phone anymore?) and plan to enjoy a wonderful time. See you there.
